The Antidote - Show 26 - The OC Supertones

A month ago Ska Lives part 1 hit the airwaves. Now it was time for Ska Lives part 2. As you might have already guessed, all things ska was the basis for this show. Matt "Mojo" Morginsky, frontman for the OC Supertones joined me for a conversation about The OC Supertones, their upcoming new album, and the past and future of ska music.  I was pretty wired about this show as I have been a long time fan of the Supertones.

Next week listen in to an interview with Aaron Gillespie, ex-Underoath drummer and clean vocalist.  We talk about his time with Underoath, the status of The Almost, and his return to worship music as a solo performer.

The Antidote - Show 24 - Junkyard Poets

I finally chose what I was going to do for this weeks show.  I had a great time interviewing Derek Gust, bassist and background vocals for the legendary band, Junkyard Poets. Never heard of them?  Unfortunately that seems to be the case for too many people.

I first met this band at The Covenant Awards in Calgary last fall. I watched them perform at a showcase...but all of this is in this weeks recording.  Listen in and be as amazed as I am at the talents of Junkyard Poets.

Listen or download The Antidote with featured artist Junkyard Poets of Sherwood Park, Alberta.

We had a great time discussing her soon-to be-released CD, Over Land and Sea.
